  • GMTA Junior Summer Tennis Camp Registration Is Open

    Calling all junior tennis players!

    GMTA's Junior Summer Tennis Camp is back at La Follette High School, and registration is now open!


    Here's what you need to know:

    • Designed for middle school advanced beginners up to varsity level players
    • Three 2-week sessions: June 15-25, July 6-16, and July 20-30
    • Monday-Thursday, 9:00-11:30 AM (Fridays held for rain makeups)
    • $209 per session
    • Only 32 spots per session — register by May 22 to guarantee your t-shirt!

    Led by Coach Nan Perschon — two-time State Coach of the Year — the camp focuses on drills, match play, technique, and tactical development to help you level up your game.

    Registration for Midwest Youth Team Tennis 2025-2026 Closes Sunday!!

    The winter Madison Youth Team Tennis (MYTT) program will be taking place again at the Nielsen and Powless this winter! This program is for beginner to intermediate 5-14 year old tennis players. Lessons will be taught over the course of 7 Saturdays from November-March (See attached flyer for dates and times). Classes start November 29th.

    To register go to midwestteamtennis.com. Once there click on Juniors, then Wisconsin and then select an age group. More details on the dates and times of the program can be found there. Registration is $65 and closes this Sunday November 16th.

  • Volunteers needed for Youth Tennis Program

    The Midwest Youth Team Tennis Program will be going on again this winter at the Nielsen and John Powless Tennis Center. This program is completely reliant on volunteers to help instruct kids from 5-14 years old. Last winter the program had ~ 150 kids and we're expecting an even bigger turnout this year.

    When: 3:30pm-6pm on Saturdays from November -March (dates listed on flyer:Madison WI- GMTA Winter 25-26 FLYER.pdf)

    Where: Nielsen Tennis Stadium  and John Powless Tennis Center (on 2/21 only)

    Why Volunteer: On top of helping inspire the next generation of tennis stars: Volunteers are paid for each session they attend. Also free food is provided for all volunteers after each lesson. 

    If you haven't ever taught tennis before: That's fine. We have many experienced volunteers who can show you the ropes.

    You don't have to make all the lessons. Even making 1 session helps the program.

  • 🎾 Madison Middle School Match Play is Back! 🎾

    Hey Madison-area junior tennis players! Are you ready to get on court this November? The Madison Middle School Team Tennis Match Play is the perfect chance to compete, make friends, and have fun.

    Where: John Powless Tennis Center
    When: November 7, 14, 21, and 27 (7:00–9:30 PM)
    Cost: $75/player (payment collected once teams are set)

    This event is open to players ages 11–14 at the intermediate level. You can sign up as an individual or bring along a team of 4–5 friends. Only four teams will be accepted—so don’t wait too long!

    Match play includes both singles and doubles, and the focus is on having fun while building your game.

    Register by October 26 to secure your spot!
